Portable Restroom Rental Prices, Published in Full
A standard portable toilet costs $100 to $350 a day, $130 to $500 a week and $125 to $325 a month. ADA units start at $200 a day and restroom trailers at $175. Delivery runs $100 to $500 separately, and extra service visits are $30 to $220 each.
What does each unit cost?
Every published range in one place. Delivery is quoted separately because it is a truck movement, and it is the line most suppliers bury.

Pricing varies by location, rental duration, quantity, delivery distance and servicing requirements. A typical standard unit lands at $150 a day, $200 a week or $200 a month, and a weekend event unit runs about $250.
What makes the price go up or down?
Duration and service count
A weekend includes one service visit. A month-long placement is priced per month with weekly service, so the cost per day falls while the invoice rises.
Distance from the depot
Delivery is a truck movement. A site 40 miles outside a service area costs more than one in the middle of an existing route.
Unit specification
Standard, deluxe flushable, unit with a sink, ADA accessible, trailer. Each step up is a different asset with a different replacement cost behind it.
Season and date
Summer weekends, holiday weekends and festival season compress supply. The same unit on the same street prices differently in October and in June.
Does the OSHA ratio change what I pay?
It changes how many units you order, which is usually the larger number. A site crossing 20 workers is a different order, not a different rate.
The 2010 ADA Standards cap the accessibility requirement at 5 percent of each cluster, so price the cluster rather than the cheapest unit in it.
29 CFR 1926.51(c)(1)
One facility for 20 or fewer employees. One toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers at 20 or more. One toilet seat and one urinal per 50 workers at 200 or more.
Federal, so the count is the same in every state.
2010 ADA Standards, section 213.2, Exception 4
Where multiple single user portable toilet or bathing units are clustered at a single location, no more than 5 percent of the toilet units and bathing units at each cluster shall be required to comply with 603.
In practice, at least one accessible unit wherever units are grouped.

Frequently asked questions
Why publish prices when competitors hide them?
Because the number is the reason people search. A visitor comparing options can act on a published range immediately, and a page that answers the price question is the page an answer engine quotes. A quote form answers nobody until someone calls back.
Is $150 a day the price I will actually pay?
It is the typical figure for a standard unit including delivery, one service visit and collection. Your number moves with distance from the nearest depot, the date, the unit specification and how many service visits you need.
What is included and what is extra?
Included: delivery and collection inside the standard service area, the service visits on your schedule, paper and sanitizer at first delivery, and licensed disposal. Extra: additional service visits at $30 to $220, crane or long-carry placement, damage or recovery, and right-of-way permits where the city charges for one.
Does the rental get cheaper the longer I keep it?
Yes, sharply. A standard unit at $125 to $325 a month works out far below the same unit at $100 to $350 a day. Long placements are billed monthly with weekly service folded in, which is why construction sites are quoted per month rather than per day.
Do prices differ by state?
They differ by metro rather than by state, because pricing follows truck routes and depot distance rather than state lines. The OSHA and ADA rules that drive unit counts are federal and identical in all 50 states.
