Which size trailer do you need?
2 stall
Small weddings, private parties and crews up to about 50 people. The smallest footprint and the easiest to tow into a tight site.
4 stall
The common event size. Separate mens and womens sides, interior lighting and climate control.
8 stall
Festivals, large weddings and corporate events. Needs a wider parking pad and a planned power feed.
Shower trailer
Disaster response, film sets and long remote placements. Needs a water supply and a greywater plan alongside power.
What does a trailer need on site?
- Level parking with enough room to maneuver a towed unit into position.
- Mains power or a generator sized to the unit. Climate control is the big draw.
- A freshwater supply, or a filled onboard tank for shorter events.
- A waste plan: either a sewer connection or a holding tank with scheduled pump-outs.
Do trailers count toward the ADA requirement?
A trailer with an accessible stall and a compliant approach can serve that role, but the requirement is about the cluster of units at a location. Where single-user portable units are grouped, the 2010 ADA Standards cap the requirement at 5 percent of that cluster, meaning at least one accessible unit.
